Adiwarman Azwar Karim is an icon of Islamic Economics and Finance in Indonesia. He earned degrees Insinyur from Agricultural Economics - Bogor Agricultural University, Indonesia, Sarjana of Monetary Economics, Faculty of Economics, from University of Indonesia, Master of Business Administration in General Management, European University, Belgium and Master of Arts in Economics and Economic Policy, Boston University, United State of America. Then he was appointed as a Visiting Research Associate at Oxford Center for Islamic Studies in United Kingdom. Formerly, he was on the management of Bank Muamalat Indonesia. He is the author of the five best selling books in Islamic Banking: Bank Islam: Analisis Fiqih dan Keuangan (1st – 3rd Edition), Ekonomi Mikro Islami (1st – 3rd Edition), Ekonomi Makro Islami (1st and 2nd Edition), Sejarah Pemikiran Ekonomi Islam (1st – 3rd Edition) and Ekonomi Islam: Suatu Kajian Ekonomi Kontemporer. He wrote more than 50 papers and presented in the third, the fourth and the fifth International Conference on Islamic Economics sponsored by Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the 76th Annual Conference of the International Western Economics Association and other international & national forums. Currently, he is appointed as member of the National Board, Council of Indonesian Ulama (Working Committee on Sharia Capital Market), Sharia Supervisory Board of Great Eastern Syariah Insurance, Prudential Life Assurance, Bank Danamon Syariah (2002 - General Share Holder Meeting, April 29, 2010), HSBC Syariah (Indonesia) (2003 – March 31, 2008), BNP Paribas Investment Partners (formerly Fortis Investments) and UFO-Multi Level Marketing Company.

Rustika Thamrin Karim is the creator of Sharia Spiritual Quotient Psychological Assessment and trainer for leadership development. She earned professional degree from University of Indonesia. Formerly she was on the management of Buah Hati Foundation renowned communication training and parenting center. She maintains a public practice in child and family psychotherapy in Hermina Hospital Depok, as well as monthly family psychotherapy’s article in magazines.

Muhammad Arif Thamrin – Advisor is a founder and former President Director of PT Asuransi Takaful Keluarga. He earned doctorandus as well as MBA degree. He spent more than 25 years in various positions within AJB Bumiputera Group. He is also a renowned figure in cooperative movement as well as is worker’s union.
